During the Chinese teaching,collective classifier has attracted the high attention of teaching staff as the key point and difficult point.Considering the numerous Chinese collective classifier and different usage with Mongolian,the essentiality of research on collective classifier has been exposed.Currently there is few ontology research of collective classifier and most acquisition of collective classifier is targeted at English native learner of Chinese.Besides,the research of acquisition of collective classifier aimed at Mongolian overseas students has not been carried out,highlighting the necessity of Mongolian-Chinese collective classifier study.Based on the achievements of related predecessors,the paper,designed in the way of questionnaire survey consisted of single choice,multiple choices and baked cloze,has checked the acquisition of the noun-collective classifier mapping by Mongolian overseas students at middle Chinese level.It also has studied the over lapping collective classifiers presented in the form of “? X ? X” and “? XX” and the “number+adjective+collective classifier+noun” structure.Finally it has surveyed the application of collective classifier by help overseas students launch the looking and speaking activity.After sorting the Mongolian overseas students' errors with the characteristics of Mongolian,the paper semantically attributes the errors into shortage of related concept,confusion about the some collective classifiers,indiscrimination of near sence collective classifiers,being bad at distinguishing the negative and positive meaning,unknown about the grammar features,etc.We try to figure out the reasons about the mistakes made by Mongolian overseas students by comparative analysis from the perspective of textbook,learner and teachers.from the concrete to the abstract;overally introducing the characteristics of collective classifier;combining the words with picture;necessary recompilation of collective classifier.Regarding the usage strategy of current textbook,Chinese teachers should deal with the classification and arrangement of various classifiers as well as comparative analysis of Mongolian-Chinese collective classifiers.In view of learners,it is important to reduce the impact from the negative shift of mother tongue and target language and practice language output capability.Seen from the Chinese teacher's perspective,there is of great value to help students form the concept,follow the teaching principles from specific to particular,focus on the discrimination of near sense classifiers and the explanation of particular classifier and the “number+adjective+collective classifier+noun” structure.In addition,teachers should emphasize on the cultivation of language output capability of collective classifier of Mongolian overseas students.
