A Practice Report On C-E Translation Of Legal Regulations On The Measures On The Administration Of The Registration For Licensed Nurses

With the integration of the world,China has a closer relationship with other countries around the world in the fields of economy,culture and so on.Translation has become more and more important.In recent years,more international students choose to study medicine in China,so the translation of medical regulations in China becomes important.Because the legal texts differ from other texts in vocabulary,grammar,sentence and other aspects,the author chooses Nida's functional equivalence theory.By analyzing and summarizing the characteristics of the source text,achieve the equivalence between the source language and target language.This paper is a translation report,and the source text is Measures on the Administration of the Registration for Licensed Nurses.This paper includes four parts: The first part is task description,and this part mainly introduces the background and content of translation,the purpose and significance of translation,and the requirements for translation.Next part is translation description and this part includes the preparation of parallel texts,the preparation of relevant theories and the choice of translation tools.The author chooses Administration of the Registration for Doctors and Nida's functional equivalence theory as guidance.Then,it is the case analysis,which is also the main part of the thesis.It mainly through summarizing the characteristics of legal texts,vocabulary and syntax,such as formal,concise and stable words and incomplete sentences,passive sentences and long sentences.At the same time,the author apply Nida's functional equivalence theory and the corresponding translation strategies into the translation,such as conversion of the speech,adjustment of word order and supplement,so as to realize equivalence between the original and translation.And the fourth part isconclusion.This part is the last part of the thesis,which is the summary of the whole thesis.The author tells the limitations and summaries of the report.
