With the acceleration of the process of globalization and the development of the science and technology, the communication among countries in all areas is more frequent than before, especially in medical field. In order to introduce advanced medical theories and technologies from those advanced countries such as Britain and America, medical workers must study a large number of medical English materials.Translators also play a great role in the process of introducing the medical English materials. As a distinctive subject, medical English has its own characteristics, for example, there are lots of specialized items, frequently used long sentences and subordinate clause, and etc.The attributive clause is frequently used in The Traumatic Brain Injury,so the report explores the strategies of translating attributive clauses from the respects of restrictive attributive clauses,non-restrictive attributive clauses, and attributive clauses functioning as adverbial modifier based on the Skopos Theory. On the basis of three rules of the Skopos Theory, preposition, postposition and fusion can be used in translating restrictive attributive clauses;preposition and postposition can be used in translating non-restrictive attributive clauses;attributive clauses functioning as adverbial modifier can be translated as relevant adverbial clauses. The report summarizes the overall process of translating, finding that although the report can solve the difficulties in translating attributive clauses in the medical text Traumatic Brain Injury, there are still deficiencies and limitations.Translating attributive clauses in the medical English is very difficult but very important,so a good translation may avoid the potential medical accidents.
