In the sixth census in 2010,the population aged 60 and over reached 177 million 640 thousand,accounting for 13.26% of the total population.According to the report issued by the Ministry of civil affairs,as of the end of 2015,China’s population aged 60 and over reached 16.1% of the total population of China.This shows that the aging of the population has accelerated,and the elderly population has increased year by year.In the Chinese traditional view,the elderly are usually the core of a large family,and all family members form a harmonious family relationship around the elderly.Therefore,the improvement of the well-being of the elderly is an important prerequisite for the construction of a harmonious socialist society,and also the basis for the realization of social development and progress.For the elderly groups,square dance with its special form of exercise,warm and cheerful content for the majority of middle-aged and elderly people’s favorite,has become the preferred sport for the elderly.Compared with other dance movement amplitude,rhythm and other reasons lead to fierce,not suitable for the elderly to participate in square dance with its characteristics,the action is slow,slower paced,relatively active atmosphere can make the elderly in the process of movement and effect of physical exercise and mental pleasure,increase your happiness level is more suitable for the elderly in the exercise and.This study from the real needs of the elderly,the use of literature,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,data analysis and other research methods,through the experiment,explore the impact of square dance exercise on old people’s happiness.Using the methods of literature study,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,using the "Body Self-esteem Scale"(PSPP),"-GWB" on the well-being scale for experimenters to control experiment,faithful record of physical and psychological condition of the elderly,so as to analyze the effects of square dance on the well-being of the elderly.The research draws the following conclusions:(1)elderly people can improve their physical self-esteem by engaging in square dancing.(2)the old people can improve their positive mood and raise their happiness level by engaging in square dancing.(3)the physical self-esteem and well-being of the elderly are positively related. |
