A Practice Report On The Interpretation For Aviation Industry Development Conference In 2016

With the increasing development of international communication,China has strengthened its ties and cooperation with other countries.China needs international perspective,international aviation management system,the improvement of overall technical program,and forward-looking development.Increasing international exchanges and levels requires interpreters to continually improve their level and ability.I have the honor to participate in the aviation industry development conference in 2016 sponsored by aviation department through which I have achieved a better understanding of interpretation.This interpreting task is consecutive interpreting,in which I am the interpreter of Irish.The speaker introduces the experience of Ryanair.Interpreters should enhance the knowledge,language sensitivity and the resilience in all conferences.This thesis is based on aviation industry development conference,summing up the problems and solutions in the practice.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the nature of the task and the task assignment under the background of the aviation industry development conference.The second part describes the interpretation process,from the pre-interpretation preparation and the translation process to the reflection.The author reads parallel texts before interpretation,and reflects after the translation,so as to improve the author's practical ability.The third part is case analysis,summing up the problems in interpretation,such as numbers,complex sentences,accent and other issues.For the problems,the author supposes some strategies,including the interpretive theory,addition,syntactic linearity and effort model and comprehension equation.The fourth part summarizes all the contents,including problems and expectations for the future,which can let the author become a better interpreter.
