Literary Theory has been a professional course since the system of disciplines of modern higher education was established.The compiling of literary theory is affected by the historical background,mainstream ideology and personal style of the author,so the textbooks about literary theory present different characteristics in different periods.In some degree,the textbooks are the direct reflection of the construction of modern system of literary theory.In the postmodern context,reviewing the compiling history of modern literary theory and exploring the compiling situations and characteristics in different periods have great significance on the construction of this discipline and the scientific writing of the textbooks.This thesis chooses the textbooks in the 1930 s as the object of study and associates them with the background from the 1920 s to the 1940 s,aiming at analyzing the compiling characteristics and thoughts in the past ten years from the perspective of logic and history.Through the analysis of specific textbooks,it tries to explore the characteristics and existing problems in the process of compiling during this period.The 1930 s is an important period for the discipline construction of the literary theory.It is an era,which is complex,open and enveloped by foreign literary ideology.This special background and international trend of thought highlight the uniqueness of compiling.After the introduction of foreign literary theory,there is a trend of imitating western narrative mode,which brings Chinese literary theory into the framework of Western literary theory.It is a process of gradually exploring how to form Chinese own literary theory,in which the characteristics of imitating Western theory,and learning from Western theory on the basis of native literature are shown.Under such circumstances,proletarian literary theory develops gradually.Chapter one introduces briefly the background of the development of literary theory in the1930 s,defines the numbers and scope of the literary textbooks,and classifies the textbooks.Chapter two summarizes the four characteristics of the textbooks in the 1930 s by analyzing the typical textbooks Chapter three mainly tells the characteristics of literary theory under the influence of the leftist thoughts in the 1930 s.In a word,based on the historical development of compiling textbooks,we try to study the problems existing in the textbooks,which is of great significance for us.It will be helpful for us to reflect the problems and compile the textbooks scientifically.
