The earliest chunk can be traced from the research of Cognitive Psychology,then it was used to research the linguistics.Chunk was characterized by the prefabricated and the “whole deposit,whole lump-sum”,which made it successful in teaching second language and second language acquisition.Although the research of Chinese language Chunk were late start up,it grew quickly.There are so many lexical chunks that have fixing structure and have no semantic transparency,it makes difficult for foreign students in communicating with native Chinese.This paper is mainly directed towards the preparatory education,testing the correctness of sentence-making in chunk method for second language learning,to see whether has a significant difference from common teaching method.To make the teaching process under control and to make it easy record,this paper make a new definition,filtering and classification criteria on the basic of the existing criteria.Finally,the author make conclusion for the paper and put out some key points for the teaching-chunk methods.The thesis consists of five parts:Chapter one: Preface is mainly about the research background at home and abroad,in which highlights on the results of Chinese Lexical Chunk research.Research methods and Objects,which is mainly about the testing method,the analysis theory and the basic background information of the research objects.In order to develop the criteria for the research,the author make conclusion and review to theresearch of chunks.Chapter two narrated specifically the Chinese lexical chunk definition,filter and classification in the preparatory listen and speak teaching materials.This part is to find the suitable criteria for the preparatory chunk teaching according to the level of preparatory students.Then find all the chunks standards compliant in the book,analysis and classification them.Chapter three is about teaching practicing and testing research.First,collecting the mid-term and final term speaking test corps of class B(which is experimental class)and class C(which is common class);Second,making data transcription,that is,from speaking records to the literal records,so that the chunks standard complaint can be found and collected;Third,using SPSS to process the quantitative analysis of the data collected from step two;Last,the author will analysis and summary the chunk teaching practice and experiment.Chapter four is the conclusion and evaluation of the thesis.In addition,some problem in this paper waiting to be solved,and some suggestion of the teaching-chunk method in the class will be put forwards..
