Lexical chunk is an new topic in Chinese language teaching.It have a big use.Chinese learners can not only improve the precision and fluency of their expression,but also avoid some mistakes of words combination,as well as increase the vocabulary and learn the authentic way of expression by studying the mode of word combination.The study of Chinese lexical chunks is still a new field at present,there are not too many specific researching monographs about how lexical chunks embody in the word compilation of teaching material and how exactly use them in teaching.The thesis briefly reviews the origin and development of lexical chunk,especially put emphasis on its development in TCFL.According to the needs of TCFL,the definition and functional classification of lexical chunks are explored,and the connotation and scope of Chinese lexical chunks are defined.Based on the previous studies,the lexical chunk is divided into fixed structure and semi-fixed structure.According to the characteristics of the lexical chunks,the two structures mentioned above are further divided into five subcategories,that is "integrated structure","frame structure","fill-in structure","related structure",and "detachable structure".The paper states the functions of lexical chunks in teaching as well.In order to study the necessity of' lexical chunk in Chinese teaching,the writer collected some oral expressions and written assignments of intermediate Chinese learners during one-year Chinese teaching in Korea.These materials list the error types of the intermediate Chinese learners and analyze the causes of the errors.Through relevant research,the author finds that the errors are not only caused by the students' learning methods,but also affected by the negative transfer of the first language.As for this problem,the author tries to solve it with the Theory of lexical chunks.What textbook the author used in the Chinese teaching is "New Practical Chinese Textbook",Korean version,compiled by Liu Xun.Compared with other versions,this version of the textbook is also based on structuralism,emphasizing the morphemes of word formation.The most outstanding feature of the Korean version textbook is that under the words list more words collocation is added,which aims to expand the students' vocabulary,but the morpheme interpretation also bring some difficulties to the teachers and students.One of the key points of this thesis is to analyze the features and shortcomings of the New Practical Chinese Textbook,Korean version,in vocabulary compilation according to the author's own Chinese teaching experience,and then put forward relevant suggestions.Finally,in view of the errors in Chinese lexical chunks and problems in teaching materials,the author discusses in detail based on the combination of chunk theory and other teaching methods of new words,and provides specific strategically suggestions for the research of new words teaching.Chunk theory teaching holds a overall position in teaching methods,which runs through the new words teaching can be used to solve the problems in the process of new words teaching and ensure the realization of teaching objectives.
