Study On Translation Of Chongyanci In Chinese Medical Classics From The Perspective Of Translation Aesthetics

Chinese medicine,with cultural connotations and broad extensions of medicinal concepts,has a long history for thousands of years.The books that passed down by our ancestors are profound in practical research materials of humanity,science and traditional medicine practices.They include rich language,culture and esoteric medical knowledge.Translators at home and abroad are willing to translate them continually.More and more scholars have begun to pay attention to the language charm of Chinese medicine classics.Wide-caliber,multi-angle and multi-level studies are helpful for the translation of Chinese medicine classics.Chongyanci in Chinese medical classics as part of Chinese medical language its translation has great research value.As a major feature of Chinese medical language Chongyanci in Chinese medical classics have the characters of beauty in sound,form and meaning.Whether we can achieve the success in translation of Chongyanci or not will directly influence the communication effects of Chinese medicine culture.Aimed at the translation problem of Chongyanci in Chinese medical classics,this study analyzed the aesthetics constitution of Chongyanci in Chinese medical classics from the perspective of translation aesthetics based on a comprehensive survey on Huahgdi Neijing,and divided it into four parts which were pleasant audio and visual percept,exquisite structural morphology,profound meaning and gorgeous cultural features.The processes of aesthetic representation were analyzed at the same time which included understanding,transforming,processing and representation.This study counted 205 Chongyanci from Huangdi Neijing in total,20 of which were randomly selected as the study cases.The selected corpus was analyzed from the perspective of translation aesthetics.Through the above analysis,the translation strategies of Chongyanci in Chinese medical classics were summarized.The author finally put forward two strategies which are imitation and reconstruction hoping to provide new practices for the translation of Chongyanci in Chinese medical classics.
