It's obvious that fingers play a vital function role in piano activities,the research of them turns out to be essential.Despite all techniques associated with the piano activities has its inevitability,its past experiences must have its historical origin rather than fabricate out of thin air.With its time attribute,the experiences selected to be preserved.However,things change a lot from the field of philosophy,social science,aesthetic experience to the development of composing techniques.Therefore,compared to the modern piano,its mature period,the earliest known experiences of ancient period keyboard instruments trans to the early Piano e Forte applied the different requirements in fingers.It will be unwise to use old method unmatchable to nowadays reality like seeking dropped sword by carving on the gunwale of a moving boat,we may totally deem these apples and oranges.The transform of material always precedes the wake of new consciousness,thus lagging perceive what remnants of the old experience is still continuation of work.With the rise of science,some scientific methods should be removed.The birth of The Anatomic-Physiological School and The Psycho-Technical School,studied by the music scientists in external form of body movement and the mental processes of the cerebral hemispheres,solves some necessary basic problems.While new problems are left in the process,especially the importance of finger-functions was in waving dispute.They have completely explained all the internal and external mechanism of the individual,but they have also overrated or underrated the emphasis that finger is the direct implementer of the piano activities.Fortunately,the piano world began to fix eyes on the central nervous system,which is not accidental at all.As the core of receiving information and issuing instructions,it is the root of behavior and plays a decisive role in performance.Perhaps it is excusable neglect before the clear reflex theory was known by piano world,but not today.The theory of voluntary movement and reflection is powerful enough to explain the behavior of piano.The finger-functions are strengthened by the nerve activities and the pianoactivities can only be studied under the vision of higher nervous activity.In other words,the study of finger-functions should be of higher nervous activity.The way to improve the basic mechanism of movement must be consistent with the higher nervous activity and the general law,otherwise faulted.Therefore,this paper shows the history of piano activities,trying to find out the historical causes of various current methods which are wide spread.And then introduce the theory of conditioned reflex into piano activities,combined with the scientific theory of higher nervous activity.Finally,it will give the reason of why right or wrong it could behave,integrate new theory of horizon with the practice of piano activities.
