Fuzziness is commonly used in diplomatic affairs and made lots of challenges to interpreters.Studies on the fuzzy language in diplomatic affairs will benefit to improve the theoretical research of diplomatic interpreting,focus attention on diplomatic interpreting and inspissate an active research atmosphere,and improve the quality of interpretation and effectiveness of diplomatic activities.This paper will make practical research about how fuzzy language produce,what's the feature guidance of Skopos Theory proposed by Hans Vermeer with examples of interpreting Wang Yi's press conference of CPC and CPPCC from 2015 to 2016,and discuss how to guide fuzziness interpreting by this theory,try to find some interpreting principles and tactics of fuzziness in diplomatic language.The author hopes that it will benefit to the interpreters in dealing with fuzziness interpreting during diplomatic affairs.The paper consists of six chapters,Chapter One is introduction,states the background,meaning,problems of this research and methodology.Chapter Two is literature review,summarizes the studies at home and abroad about fuzziness and fuzziness in diplomatic affairs,includes the definition and classification of fuzziness,and how it produces.Chapter Three is theoretical guidance,demonstrates the producing and development,definition and principles of Skopos Theory.Chapter Four analyzes on the features of fuzziness in diplomatic affairs.Chapter Five demonstrates how to interpret fuzziness in diplomatic affairs under the guidance of Skopos Theory principles(Skopos,Coherence and Fidelity),and puts forward the interpreting tactics from the perspective of Skopos Theory.Chapter Six gives the results and limitations of this research,and expectation for its future developments.
