The Research Of The Temple Fair Of "Panzi" In Liulin,Shanxi Province From The Perspective Of Communication

The temple fair of "Panzi"is a series of folk cultural activities which are around"Panzi" hold by people in liulin,shanxi province during the Lantern Festival and Grain Bin Filling Festival.The "Panzi" built by the local skilled craftsmen is a kind of wooden antique attic building including sculpture,painting,dough modelling,couplet,lights and so on.The "Panzi" culture is rich,extensive and profound.The thesis using the methods of literature,case analysis,field investigation,content analysis explores the origin,development history and communication mechanism of the temple fair of "Panzi" in the specific environment,which purpose is to discuss the interactive relation among the "Panzi" culture,the local society,economy,politics,culture and people's life and to present the local characteristics.The thesis explores from the following five steps.The first is to outline the elements,ritual process of the "Panzi" and The temple fair of "Panzi".The second is to investigate the origin,development history of the temple fair of"Panzi",which discusses the interactive relation among the temple fair of "Panzi",local society and people's life from a longitudinal perspective.The third is to analyze the communication mechanism including the significance and change of communicator,audience,communication function,which discusses the interactive relation among the temple fair of "Panzi",local society and people's life from a horizontal perspective.The fourth is to analyze the characteristics,representation,reason,reconstruction strategy of the temple fair of "Panzi" being a kind of ritual communication activities.The last step is to summarize the research results that local people not only need to protect "Panzi",but also reshape its spiritual belief.Comparing with the current research achievements,the thesis strives to innovation and breakthrough in content and methods.First,content pursues breakthrough on two aspects.For one thing,current research achievements on "the communication custom" is the descriptive analysis,which are lack of theoretical analysis.Accordingly,the thesis using the knowledge of communication,folklore,religion,anthropology,sociology discusses the interactive relation among the temple fair of "Panzi",local society and people's life to strengthen theoretical analysis.For another thing,the starting and finishing point of the thesis is discussing the relationship between "the communication custom" and local society.On this basis,the author suggests the strategy how to protect "Panzi" and reshape its spiritual belief.Second,research method also seeks to breakthrough.When observing and interviewing the object of research,,the author try to keep a "dual participant".Ss the author not only can communicate with interviewer smoothly to learn cultural significance and locals'thinking process,but also can Keep a certain distance from the object of research to be a sense of distance and sensitivity.
