Task-Based Language Teaching(TBLT)is a language learning method emerged in the 1980s.It’s emphasizes of "learning by doing".Oral English teaching is to allow students to use English to communicate,access to information,through practice to achieve the purpose of communication process.TBLT plays an important role in oral English teachingThrough the questionnaire,interview and teaching reflection,this study conducted an eight-week experimental study on 70 students of two English major classes in Branch of Tonghua Teachers College.The purpose is apply the Task-Based Language Teaching to oral English teaching of secondary vocational school,and use different tasks in various procedures of oral teaching to explore the oral teaching methods and strategies adapt to the current situation of English majors.The study found that the Task-Based Language Teaching method create a good English learning atmosphere,improve students’ learning interest and confidence in English study,enhance the students’ ability of autonomous learning and cooperative learning,stimulate students’enthusiasm for learning English,and finally can improve oral skills of secondary Vocational School students.Apply the listing task in review and lead-in procedure,let the students sort out and summarize learned knowledge to complete the task,arouse students’ interest and confidence in learning.In the class presentation procedure applies comparing tasks enable students to communicate with each other,to promote mutual understanding of the language.In the review procedure,it is suitable for the application of sharing personal experiences tasks,so that students can internalize their knowledge structure and master the language.Based on research achievement at national and abroad,this study tries to use Task-based Language Teach:ing method to change the "3p"teaching model,promote the Oral English Teaching Syllabus further,and change secondary vocational oral English teaching.
