The author was selected to go to UCC(University College Cork)Confucius Institute as an International Chinese teacher volunteer in August 2015,and then assigned to work in the Confucius Classroom of National University of Ireland Maynooth as NUIM Confucius classroom lasted a period of 10 months.This survey report develops from 4 aspects : the college & university,students,teachers,textbooks.It will focus on the investigation and research on the development of Chinese class in county of Dublin in Ireland,the situation of Chinese teachers faculty and teaching,Students’ satisfaction of Chinese classes,college & university on the value of Chinese classes、the situation of promotions of Chinese classes by Confucius Institute Headquarters and Confucius Institute.The data from the survey report were collected and recorded by the correspondent author to ensure the genuineness and reliability.By investigating the participants,It can reflect the fact and problems in county of Dublin in Ireland to some extent.The article is divided into five parts.The first part regards the background of Irish Chinese teaching as the object,introducing the Irish teaching system,Chinese teaching history,Chinese teaching institutions briefly,focusing on the Irish secondary education and higher education curriculum features for the follow-up analysis and analysis provides background information.The second part summarizes the advantages and problems of secondary education teaching in county Dublin of Ireland from the four aspects of college,students,teachers and textbooks,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.The third part summarizes the advantages and problems of higher education teaching in county Dublin of Ireland from the four aspects of college,students,teachers and textbooks,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.On the macro level,the forth part makes corresponding recommendations to the whole Chinese teaching in county of Dublin in Ireland from the Confucius Institute,teachers and textbook.The final part is the conclusion,respectively,to make a summary for the survey and analysis of the the first four parts.
