The Characteristics Of Yang Qin Accompaniment In Local Opera Music In Yuncheng District,Shanxi Province

Yang Qin was once called the dulcimer when it was brought into China in Ming Dynasty.During the next hundreds of years,it was gradually fused with Chinese traditional music and finally evolved a kind of Chinese-style ethnic musical instrument,which was later named Yang Qin.Because of the characteristic of the playing technique,the rhythm and granularity of the sound,Yang Qin has become one of indispensable plucked instruments in China.And from the dulcimer to Yang Qin,the name change became the symbol of its sinicization.Since Yang Qin was introduced to China,it has rapidly been accepted by folk rap and opera music.It has been used widely as the accompaniment instrument.And it even helped make some new operas formed,such as Qinshu,which is popular around China.Developing for over four hundred years,fundamental changes has taken place both in the shape and playing techniques.These changes greatly broaden the space of the usage of Yang Qin,and keep it moving forward in the field of accompaniment.Shanxi Province,as one of the sources of Chinese civilization,has a long history and profound culture.There are many kinds of folk and opera music,such as the four big Bangz,Errentai,Daoqing,yangko drama,etc.The traditional art and culture in Yuncheng District occupies an important position in Shanxi.Due to Yuncheng's unique location,it has created the brilliant Hedong Civilization.Of all,its culture and art are the most remarkable.And the folk music is colorful and characteristic.Here are Puzhou Bangz,the oldest local opera in China,and Jiangzhou Drum Music,which is famous in our country.In Yuncheng,opera music has a strong mass base and mature development.Some operas,like Qinshu,chose Yang Qin as the accompaniment instrument at the beginning;some like Mei Hu adopted it when they were developing.As the usage of development,it becomes the main accompaniment instrument and plays an important role.After a long period of art practice,the use scope of Yang Qin has been expanding gradually in local operas.The accompaniment levels become mature and the techniques take on a tendency to go from the simple to the complex.In This thesis,by summarizing the development of Yang Qin and the accompaniment,by reviewing the formation and development of the typical operas in Yuncheng District,by collecting all kinds of information attached to Yang Qin accompaniment,I will analyze and research the usage and function of Yang Qin in different periods and different operas.On this basis,I will put forward my views and suggestions,so that Yang Qin can be used specifically in local operas in Yuncheng.
