Abstract/Summary:
Mo Yan’s novel "Frog" uses a variety of rhetoric,which not only enriches the content and form of the novel,also flexibly shows real images of the characters in the novel.The differences in languages,culture,aesthetic and translator ’s personal qualities make certain deficiencies in the translation process of rhetoric.In order to completely and accurately convey the original information to the readers,while make its aesthetic reproduction,translator compensates deficiencies with a variety of compensation.This paper analyses the rhetorical compensation in Mongolian translation of "Frog".The whole paper consists of five parts:introduction,content,conclusion,reference and appendix.The introduction explains reason for electing topic,research status,research purposes,research methods,research significance,research materials and innovation.The first chapter mainly discusses the three features,which are,national character,historical and appearance,of rhetoric in the novel "Frog";and analyses rhetoric features of the novel "Frog" in Mongolian translation from original style,folk custom and the author language art and so on.The second chapter analyzes deficiencies and compensation of rhetoric,such as metaphor,rhetorical question,exaggeration,used n Mongolian translation of the novel"Frog" with case analysis.The third chapter mainly explores the causes of rhetoric compensation and the factors that affect the compensation of "Frog" in Mongolian translation.Finally summarizes the full text content and shortcomings from five aspects.
