Objective:This study is based on the narrative therapy to develop a group counseling program,which is aimed to improve the well-being and positive metacognition of the college students with left-behind experience.And then,this study tested the effectiveness of the program.Methods:This study consists of two parts:The first part is a survey to compare 104 left-behind experience college students' with 320 ordinary college students' positive metacognitive and general well-being level using PMCEQ and GWB.The second part is an intervention study,the study selected 24 students to participate this mission through voluntary registration and interview screening.Then they will be randomly assigned to the experimental group(12 people)and control group(12 people),on the basis of strict control of group leader,time and other additional variables,using a quasi experimental design to verify the validity of the group counseling program,and discussing the effective factor of narrative orientation group counseling in improving the well-being and positive metacognition of the college students with left-behind experience.Results:(1)The experimental group post test on energy,the life satisfaction and interest,depression or happy mood,the emotion and behavior control,relaxation and tension,well-being,PMCEQ1,PMCEQ2,PMCEQ3 and PMCEQ were significantly higher than the control group post test(p<0.01).(2)The experimental group post test on energy,the life satisfaction and interest,depression or happy mood,tension,relaxation and well-being,PMCEQ1,PMCEQ2 and PMCEQ were significantly higher than the pre-test problem(p<0.01).(3)There was no significant difference between the scores of the posttest and the pretest in the control group.Conclusion:(1)The narrative oriented group counseling can effectively improve the global well-being of college students with left behind experience,and the counseling effect has a certain continuity;(2)The narrative oriented group counseling can effectively improve the positive metacognition of college students with left behind experience,and the counseling effect has a certain continuity;(3)The concept and technique of narrative therapy is an important factor to produce therapeutic effect.
