In the research about English language,the words about in fact,in truth,indeed,actually,really have got greatly concerned,they offer information makers for discourse,educational circles called them “discourse maker”What corresponds to “in fact”in Chinese is the word“Qishi”,in our daily communication,“Qishi”has high frequency of utilization,scholars mainly focus on the ontology research of“Qishi”,because the subjectivization of “Qishi” is enhanced greatly.The research find “Qishi”also has the traits of discourse makers,the paper mainly focus on“Qishi”,in the foundation of ontology research,combining with a large number of dynamic language,researching the word “Qishi”from the perspective of sentence traits,discourse function,contrast and error analysis.the whole paper is divided into seven chapters.Chapter 1 is introduction,this part mainly expound the cause of topic select,the research significance,the research method and corpora source.Chapter 2 is generallity,summarizing the discourse maker from lateral and vertical at home and abroad.we review the former research about the definition and function of discourse makers.Chapter 3 mainly research the location and distribution of “Qishi”,discourse maker“Qishi” can be used in soliloquy and dialogic,the location distribution is flexible,as a discourse maker,“Qishi” has the functions of trigger turn,continue turn,occupy turn,transfer turn.Chapter 4 mainly research the evolution process of “Qishi”.according to the distinction of adverb“Qishi” and discourse maker“Qishi” to figure out the grammaticalization route of “Qishi”Chapter 5 mainly discriminate some words with “Qishi”.because of the high frequency and high grammaticalization of discourse maker“Qishi”,compared with other related words,“Qishi” can derive more pragmatic function.Chapter 6 Combining with corpus,the error analysis of discourse maker“Qishi” can reduce to overgeneralication,negative transfer and negative form.Chapter 7 is summary,concluding the whole content,pointing out the insufficient and expectation.
