Wen Tianxiang was from Jizhou prefecture Luling County in the end of Southern Song Dynasty. According to the Wen Tianxiang collection, which was punctuated and Compiled by Xiong Fei and published by Jiangxi People's Publishing House, we will study 962 poems of Wen Tianxiang in the terms of rhyme. Analysis of poems by Wen Tianxiang to determine the rhyme of each poem and Phonological status of each rhythmic word. We will summarize the rhythm characteristics of Wen Tianxiang's poetry and the actual phonological characteristics in Ji'an area.The Graduation thesis conclude four chapters. The first chapter introduced the poet's lifetime and his witting, highly personal style of poetry, data edition, to determined rhythmic words and so on. In the second chapter, we observed the real situation of his poems. This chapter covered six parts. and separated 16 Shes into 6 groups, then made rhythmic system.The third chapter deeply analyzed special cases happened in his rhythmic system, which divided into four aspects of Yin-Sheng-rhyme,Yang-Sheng-rhyme, Ru-sheng-rhyme, Cross rhyming of Shang-Sheng-rhyme and Qu-Sheng-rhyme, the voiced Shang sound turned to Qu sound. In order to generalize the reason of the appearance that rhythm regular pattern reflected by Wen Tianxiang's poetry,we must analyze the evolution of poetry rhyme on Tang and Song Dynasties and the actual phonological characteristics in Ji'an area. At last, we used one chapter to make the rhyme pedigree.Rhymes in the poems written by Wen Tianxiang specifically reflect outstanding phonetic features. The outstanding phonetic features are under below: first,Yin-Sheng-rhyme: non-labial sound of Liu She cross-rhyming with Yu She, Liu She cross-rhyming with Xiao She, Zhi She cross-rhyming with Yu She, which embody the phonetic features of Gan dialect. Qi and Ji rhyme that Separated from Xie She has been completed the process of transformation to Zhi She. The word of Ya were included in the branch of rhyme Zhi Jia Ma. They conform to the actual voice of the general language.Second, Yang-Sheng-rhyme: Jiang She has been completely fused with Dang She.Yang-Sheng-rhyme's endings [m] gradually turn to endings [n]. Zeng She has been completely fused with Geng She. Zeng She, Geng She and Zhen She mixed rhyming with each other. Zeng She and Geng She mixed rhyming with Jiang She and Dang She.They reflect the phonetic features of Jiangxi dialect. Third, Ru-sheng-rhyme's endings increasingly fall off. The endings [p][t][k] mixed rhyming with each other, which appear with certain regularity. Last, Shang-Sheng-rhyme Cross-rhyming with Qu-Sheng-rhyme.The voiced Shang sound partly turned to Qu sound, partly remain unchanged. It is in the midst of change and does not finish the final transformation.
