| Public English classroom teaching effect and quality,in a larger extent,directly affects the quality of higher vocational education.In order to satisfy the needs of public English classroom teaching,focusing on improving students’ basic quality and ability of English is the typical way for talents training goal and the realization of the skilled application of common practices in higher vocational colleges and universities in our country.This article aimed to research the present situation and problems of public English classroom teaching in higher vocational colleges,especially the main problems and its influencing factors,and then put forward the corresponding improvement countermeasures on the basis of other useful practice,with the topic public English classroom teaching in higher vocational colleges and the cases of Jiujiang Vocational University.In this paper,firstly,I clarified the theoretical education and related concepts,demonstrated the public English Teaching aims in higher vocational education and summarized the current domestic and foreign successful experiences and shortcomings of English Teaching in higher vocational colleges through literature method and comparative analysis method;Secondly using questionnaire and interview I investigated the status of Jiujiang Vocational University public English classroom teaching,such as students’ lack of learning interest,the overall quality of teachers needing to be improved and the English teaching system to be improved taking the problems of Public English Teaching in Jiujiang Vocational University as examples;then we found that the qualified teachers are the guarantee of the teaching quality and stimulate students’ interest in learning is helpful to improve the teaching effect of the successful experience through the public English class teaching experience in 6 vocational colleges from Jiangxi Province.Finally,the paper put forward some suggestions on improving the public English Teaching in Jiujiang Vocational University from the aspects of the school and the teachers. |
