This paper deals with the current situation of the Chinese language teaching in Russian Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University,learners' background in recent years,teachers' proficiency problems,the curriculum organization,teaching materials and resources,teaching equipment,teaching methods and so on.This paper also analyzes the motivation of the learners of the Chinese language in Russian Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University.Through the analysis,this paper gives a clear idea of the current situation of Chinese language teaching in Russian Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University,analyzes the problems that are existing at the very moment.The main problems are as follows: Chinese teaching system does not fully consider the characteristics of students,the teachers don't have enough level of proficiency there're supposed to have,the organization of the curriculum,teaching materials are still relatively old.There is also an emphasis on a lack of a structured and unified teaching system.In this paper,author puts forward some relevant suggestions and opinions on the university's learning environment,learning standards,teacher training,curriculum organization,giving some practical pieces of advice on teaching material optimization and reforming teaching methods.Overall,we hope that through our research we can help Russian Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University to improve the quality of the Chinese language teaching. |
