An Investigation Of Chinese Language Teaching In Moscow State Linguistic University

Following the rapid development and the increase of international geopolitical role of China,more and more Russian people(as a nation of one of the most important Chinese country-partner)started to pay certain attention to Chinese culture and language.Moscow State Linguistic University has always been the model of studying Chinese in Russian universities on an international level.The author of this paper graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University with bachelor degree.On this basis the author made the topic of this paper as “Research on Current Situation of Teaching Chinese at Moscow State Linguistic University”.This paper analyzes Chinese teaching situation and existing problems of Moscow State Linguistic University,it also describes the current situation of students and teachers.So the author found that,there are many students that are learning Chinese for future jobs prospects.Some students are learning Chinese just because of their parents,relatives or teachers were insisting on that.The author also put into consideration teaching equipment,teaching material and methods,pros and cons.By interviews with the teachers,the author discovered that some Chinese teachers in Moscow State Linguistic University don't use media materials and electronic devices.The author also found that the majority of teachers are using Russian language most of the time as a main language in teaching process,a lot of teachers reckon that it is not necessary to teach Chinese culture,that absolute majority is focused in teaching pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and texts.Based on the results of survey the author analyzed the role of current situation of teaching Chinese in Moscow State Linguistic University,the existing problems of teaching Chinese in mentioned University.On this basis the author brought some fresh ideas as a result of the research.
