A Study On The Ningxia Hui Paper Cutting Art

Paper-cut as the outstanding folk art of the Chinese nation has a long history,and full of full-bodied local flavor.It is one of the popular folk art forms.It's the wisdom crystallization of masses labouring people,deeply rooted in the vast land of China,which is spontaneous,practical and entertaining and has cultural diversity and inclusiveness.It reflects the working people's emotions and feelings.Paper-cut as the first batch of national selected national non-material heritage,is a kind of approval of folk culture.Ningxia Hui paper cutting is a unique paper-cut art in Ningxia Hui religion.It was listed in national intangible cultural heritage representative lists in 2014.Ningxia Hui autonomous is located in northwest in our country,and because of the geographical reasons,Hui paper-cut art integrates the rough and concise of Shanbei paper-cut art.Hui culture has been communicating with the Han nationality for a long time,which makes the Hui paper-cutting art blends in some characteristics of Han nationality paper-cutting art while expresses the Hui culture elements.It bears Hui nationality people's good wishes,with distinctive national and regional features,fully showed the inclusiveness and openness of Hui paper-cutting art.In this paper,Ningxia Hui paper-cut art as the research object of study,through following five chapters,it respectively analyze and research the several aspects such as history and form and content,the main theme,cutting and engraved techniques,Making process and composing elements,heritage protection of Hui paper-cut art.The research highlights discusses the main theme type and its inheritance and application in the future of Ningxia Hui paper-cut,and conceive for its future develop and application.At the same time,the author through the interview with the paper-cut artists,collects the information by going to the National library,Ningxia library and Ningxia province cultural department website and various aspects,to ensure the authenticity of the article content,and also hopes this paper can add some information to the research of Ningxia Hui paper-cut art.
