Bronze Inscriptions Of The Eastern Zhou Dynasty Vassal States In The Western Shandong

About the bronze inscription of the Eastern Zhou dynasty vassal states which were located in the western Shandong Province,the geographical position limit in western Shandong,selecting ten vassal states include Shi,Zhu,Teng,Zhu,Lan,Huyi,Fei,Xue,Pi and Cao;the historic period limit in the zhou dynasty.The inscriptive bronzes collected from the ten vassal states are more than 60 pieces.This paper try to study by the double evidence law of Mr.Wang Guowei which prove by confirming the archaeology materials and document for each other.This paper is divided into ten chapters,annotating and sorting the bronze inscription of the ten vassal state respectively,and then put forward my own opinion as much as possible.The chapter one studies the Teng state,draw the conclusions blow:the character of "(?)" is "?",also written as"(?);"(?)"was interpreted as "?"or"?"or "?"?",according to the bronze of the tenghouwu ge,we can certify it as "?";the character of "?"was commonly seen on the weapon,was a variant character of "?",etc.The chapter two studies the Zhu state,draw the conclusions blow:the orthography of "(?)" is "?",with the meaning of "kindness";"(?)"is the variant character of "?",the radical of "?"or"?"has the same meaning,etc.The chapter three studies the Huyi state,draw the conclusions blow:"(?)"was interpreted as "?"or"?"or "?",the bronzes such as Huyiqiuyi proved it was "?";the "??" on the bronze is "??" in the literature;as an independent country,Huyi really existed in the Eastern Zhou dynasty,the vassal state surnamed"(?)",located in the mushi town,etc.The chapter four studies the Pi state,draw the conclusions blow:"?" derived from the "?","?" means "the embryo",etc.The chapter five studies the Lan state,draw the conclusions blow:"(?)" a variant character of "?",was composed of"?"and "(?)",explained "?";"??(?)"in the inscription is the "???"in the literature,etc.The chapter six studies the Xue state,draw the conclusions blow:"(?)"and "(?)" are both variant character of "?";the orthography of"(?)",is"(?)",is the abbreviation of "?",etc.The chapter seven studies the Fei state,draw the conclusions blow:the orthography of "(?)" is "(?)",explained as "?";the Fei state in the inscription of FeiMin father's ding,surnamed "?",located in the Yutai Country,Jining City,Shandong Province,etc.The chapter eight studies the Cao state,draw the conclusions blow:"(?)"is the variant character of "?";"(?)" is the variant character of "?",etc.The chapter nine studies the Shi state,draw the conclusions blow:"?" explained "start";the inscription of "????,????" is apparently affected by Qi,etc.The chapter ten studies the Zhu state,draw the conclusions blow:surnamed "?",also written as "?" in the literature;the character of "??",coincide with the character of "?? ",is the record month as well,etc.Through the discussion of the above ten parts content,formatting the systematic and complete annotating and sorting of the bronze inscription of the Eastern Zhou dynasty vassal states which were located in the western Shandong Province.
