With the economic development of China and Myanmar,there are more and more Chinese learners in Myanmar.The importance of teaching methods in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is self-evident.This internship is a very rare opportunity for foreign language researchers,the author interviewed some Chinese teachers before and many teachers said that they did not know the use of teaching methods.So,this is the conception of this article,that is,the investigation of a representative Chinese school in Myanmar as a research object,the study of different types of classes using different Chinese language teaching methods.This paper on the basic of a large number of research papers to understand the most update research situation,combining with the basic theory of teaching methods to sort the analysis out.These studies will be a theoretical basis for the paper to provide ideas.Based on the theoretical basis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this paper investigates and analyses their characteristics and deficiencies of the following teaching methods:Experiential teaching methods,Game teaching methods,Audiolingual teaching methods and Demonstration teaching methods.Moreover,the author analyzes the situation of Chinese language teaching in Myanmar and conducts a questionnaire survey on the teachers and students of the Chinese language school,and analyzes their teaching methods in different classes,compared with the problems and made recommendations.It is of great advantage to explore the teaching methods used by Chinese language teachers in class rooms having the good syllabus,curriculum and the interest of students in learning Chinese language.Chinese language is the one of the most popular foreign languages in Myanmar.It contains Chinese characters,vocabulary and grammar.This paper mainly selected the six largest schools in three different regions,Yangon,Mandalay and Taunggyi which are the most influence regions of Chinese language to carry out research.This paper investigates and analyses on the different teaching methods of the primary Chinese language classes in three different types of schools.This paper is divided into six chapters,the first chapter studies the teaching methods of Chinese as a foreign language,describes the history of Chinese language teaching in Myanmar,the school type and teaching environment.The second chapter studies the theoretical basis and the third,the teaching methods of Chinese language teachers in Myanmar.The fourth chapter investigates the teaching methods of Chinese language in Myanmar and analyzes the results of the different teaching methods in diftferent classes in Chinese classrooms by means of questionnaires and interviews.On the basis of investigation and research,the fifth chapter elaborates on the suggestions and teaching methods in Myanmar’s classrooms teaching.In this paper,the author makes a comprehensive and systematic investigation and analysis of different teaching methods in Myanmar.It is necessary to grasp the situation of Myanmar’s teaching methods in China,including the views of learners on teaching methods,and finally hope to fill for the current Myanmar teaching methods Research blank,and promote the development of Chinese language teaching in Myanmar.
