Comparison is an important semantic category. In teaching Chinese as a second language, the comparative sentence has been a very important grammar point.Korean and modern Chinese comparative sentence have their own characteristics.Native Korean speakers will make various usage errors in this part because they would be affected by their logical modes of thinking. This thesis takes the equal comparative sentence as research object, comparing and analyzing the corresponding forms between Chinese and Korean, comparing and analyzing the rules and characteristics of South Korean students' errors to find the causes and make suggestions for the comparative sentence teaching. This thesis analyzes the equal comparative sentences of Chinese and Korean in detail from equal relation and approximate relation.I found that Chinese and Korean equal comparative sentence has both same and different points.“A?/?B??”and“……(?)”are different in sentence structure. But they are similar in the form of ellipsis, the positive and negative question and the use of adverb;“A?B??……”and“……(?)……”are different in sentence structure and negative form. But there are no comparative object in both of them.“???”in Chinese and Korean are both sentence patterns of degree. But in Korean,it is more flexible.By analyzing the errors of the test and comparing the results of intermediate students and advanced students,I found that the advanced students made less error compared with the intermediate students. And about the types of errors, they have both more errors in omission and misuse. The advanced students have more errors in adding by mistake but the intermediate students have more errors in fuzziness of semantic features. On the basis of the contents discussed above, this paper provides concrete and feasible suggestion for teaching Chinese equal comparative sentence based on the results of the comparison and the analysis of errors.I hope that I can make valuable research results for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
