Research On Modern Liu Haisu's Art Exhibition (1918-1945)

As an important enabler of the new art movement in China,Liu Haisu's artistic thoughts and practical activities have made important contributions to the construction and development of modern aesthetics in China.On the basis of mastering the background of the development of Chinese modern art exhibitions,this paper takes Liu Haisu's related art exhibitions from 1920s to 1940s to study the related art exhibitions by means of literature research and historical research,Reconstruct the process of Liu Haisu's related art exhibition,and then study Liu Haisu's important contribution for China's art modernization.Through the analysis of the historical background of the rise of Liu Haisu's art exhibition,we understand that the traditional "Gallery of the literati" will become history in the background of the foreign aggression and the inner needs of China,and the works of art will surely enter the public field of view.At the beginning of the twentieth century,art exhibitions began to appear in the form of budding,although they are still immature,but they have changed the traditional Chinese ways of poem appreciation.At the same time,Liu Haisu's early artistic experience laid a solid foundation for his later art exhibition.By reconstructing the art exhibition of Liu Haisu in the 1920s and 1940s,we found that Liu Haisu's art exhibition has a strong contemporary character.In the 1920s,China's political turmoil,social chaos,lack of public belief,Liu Haisu's art exhibition of this period regarded the promotion the art revolution and the people of art as a path to the goal of saving society.In the 1930s,the Nanjing National Government vigorously promoted the construction of culture and returned to the traditional culture.Liu Haisu's art exhibition was gradually linked with the propaganda of national traditional culture and had more political color.In the 1940s,the "Anti-Japanese War" was the theme of the times.Liu Haisu's art exhibition was linked to raising funds for fighting the war and propagating the national spirit,and was given a strong patriotic color.Liu Haisu's art exhibition is always closely linked with the era of his life,full of the spirit of the times.Liu Haisu's art exhibition has had a significant impact on modern China.His art exhibition gradually transplant the Western all-round art exhibition to China,while there are some innovations,to promote the modernization of the Chinese art exhibition.At the same time,Liu Haisu had a significant impact on the construction of modern Chinese aesthetics,development,with its artistic thought and art practice.
