| China's traditional color culture, as an important part of traditional culture, containing infinite intelligence of ancient Chinese, is precious cultural heritage and spiritual wealth of Chinese nation. While with the progress of society and development of network, the western religion,literature, science, etc. introduced into China. Influenced by that, China's traditional color culture developed gradually into the new modern color culture, retaining traditional cultural base as well as presenting era characteristics.The study selects 27 typical colorsbased on the color palette of "A World in a Flower", according to color recognition and similarity of hue,and makes investigation and analysis oftypical modern color image of 27 colors. The paper analyzes traditional color image influenced by Chinese traditional philosophical thoughts andmodern color image influenced by diversified culture,compares the differences between ancient and modern color image and analyzesthereasons for that.The study makes a conclusion that a part of color image of typical colors of modern young people inherits China's traditional color image and the other part is new color image influence by diversified culture. It is found through a comparative research on traditional and modern color images that the changes of traditional color image derived from nature are relatively less, while those related to humanity and society are quite a lot.Due to the technological progress and the development of color theories,in modern society, there appear many color images related to technological products and colors' features. With the development of science and technology as well as the improvement of traditional culture protection awareness, in the future development of color culture, the influences of nature and colors' features on color image will remain, while the influences of technological progress and traditional cultures on color image will increasingly enhance. |
