A Report On English-Chinese Translation Of Bidding Ducuments For MEP Testing Service

As an important way for trading activities,bidding and tender,popular in business cooperation,is very necessary in the purchase of cargo,engineering and service.Bidding documents,valid legally,are intended to specify detailed information about projects,rights and obligations of bidders as well as tenders.Based on the translation practice of the project — “Bidding Documents for MEP Service”,this report aims to reflect on the project under the guidance of the theory of functionalist translation theory by reviewing the implementation of the project.The author of the report makes a detailed case study by analyzing the difficulties in vocabulary,sentences,and measures taken to deal with them as well,in the hope of providing some experience and reference for other translators in this field.
