A Study Of Ili Uprising Of Xinjiang During 1864-1871

In 1864,there was an incident in Xinjiang in the north and south of the tianshan mountains,which was the case against the Qing dynasty.Ili uprising broke out on oct.13,1864.At present,since the lack of comprehensive and systematic researched about the uprising in Ili in the academia,The paper tries to use historical materials to revivify the whole process and influence of Ili uprising.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part mainly introduces the reason and process of Ili uprising.The second part mainly discusses the effect and outcome of the uprising,chievely from the infighting between the Hui and Uygur,resistance of the Russian invasion of Ili,Ili population decline,the decline of nine cities of Ili,as well the fall of the territory west of Horgos.The third part mainly discusses related problems of the Ili uprising,including the difference between hui uprising in Shanxi and Gansu and Ili uprising,the nature of the Ili uprising,the nature of the regima of Taranch.Ili uprising in 1864 had a profound influence on us,not only on the positive side,but also on the negative side.In general,Ili uprising negative influence was greater than the positive influence.
