| With the increase in the number of Volunteer Chinese teachers,the influence of Chinese and Confucius institutes is growing worldwide.Scattered in the countries where they teach Chinese,the volunteer Chinese teachers will inevitably encounter cross-cultural adaptation problems in one new country.The study of cross-cultural adaptation has been in a long time ago,but the research on the cross-cultural adaptation of is not mature and comprehensive enough.In this paper,the author takes the 15 personal information of Volunteer Chinese teachers as the influence factors.Based on the three dimensions(psychological adaptation,social and cultural adaptation,and job adaptation)of cross-cultural adaptation,the questionnaire was used to investigate the Volunteer Chinese teachers and SPSS20.0 application was used to analyze the statistics of the survey.Then,we can know that the factors that affect the cross-cultural adaptation of volunteers in Egypt are Volunteer Chinese teachers’ gender,English proficiency,education level and the degree of understanding of Egypt.Finally,according to the conclusions of this study,the author puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the cross-cultural adaptation ability of Volunteer Chinese teachers in Egypt and how to select and train Volunteer Chinese teachers. |
