With the rising of “Chinese Fever”around the world,Volunteer Chinese teacherprogram is constantly developing and improved. Hanban continually sends Chineseeducational talents around the world, which makes Chinese language education inPhilippines has also ushered in a new dawn.In order to do a better job of promotingoverseas Chinese education in the Philippines and making better internationalpromotion of Chinese language,we need to pay more attention to the development of“Volunteer Chinese teacher Program”in Philippines as well as detect overseasadapting problems of volunteer Chinese teachers.Based on the Volunteer Chineseteacher program,this thesis investigate and research the Chinese teachers sent in2009-2012by Jinan University with questionnaires and interviews.Firstly,According to statistical analysis of the questionnaires,the authorsummarizes some existing problems of volunteer teachers in the living adaptation,working adaptation and interpersonal adaptation.Secondly, combining the interviewsof volunteers,the author discusses the underlying causes of the problems mentionedbelow. Finally,combining opinions of the volunteers,this thesis puts forward somesuggestions on “Volunteer Chinese teacher program”,the issue of sending volunteersto Philippines by Jinan University and so on.
