In the recent years, along with the improving of China's comprehensive national power, great efforts have been taken to protect intangible culture heritages;however, the work of protecting intangible culture heritages is greatly challenged by globalization and economic integration. As a country bound in intangible culture heritages,China shall take measure to promote these valuable heritages to the world. The protection work should take root in the culture rather than money. The translation of the books on China's intangible culture heritages will not only expand influence of Chinese culture but also draw attention of the masses and scholars to enhance the protection work.Fanhui Music in Western Beijing is one of the “Non-material Cultural Heritage Series” books. This book is a comprehensive expression of the author's(Mr.Bao Shixuan)academic research results of folk music of Han nationality in western Beijing. There are a number of unique Chinese culturally-loaded words in the book. The first three chapters of the book is the source text. The report tries to explore strategies of translating Chinese culturally-loaded words into English guided by translation norms of Toury.
