A Report On The Simulation Consecutive Interpretation Of 2016 Imf Apd Reo Seminar

With the rapid development of Chinese economy and the improvement of China's international status,Chinese economy is more and more concerned by the international community.On May 3rd,2016,the IMF Asia Pacific Economic Outlook Seminar was held in Hong Kong,discussing trade and financial spillovers from China.The author conducted a simulation consecutive interpreting based on this seminar.Based on this interpreting practice with such a professional theme,the report describes the process of this interpreting practice,including background introduction,the preparation jobs,interpretation process and interpretation summary.Through analyzing the detailed questions,the author found the problems existing in her interpreting practice and figured out the relative solutions,therefore,to guide the later interpreting training and practices.There are four parts in this report: the overall description to the background and requirement of the interpreting task,description of the interpretation process,case analysis,and summary.In conclusion,with the author's description,analysis and self-evaluation towards her simulation interpreting task,this report explores the effective ways to deal with professional interpreting task,and the author hopes that it can benefit the beginners with some enlightenment.
