With the improvement of people's living standards and the continuous accumulation of wealth,Financial Quotient(FQ)education has become a required course. Therefore, the interpretation task of an FQ seminar is in line with the trend of the times, being conducive to cross-cultural communication and cultivating FQ awareness. This report mainly studies the author's consecutive interpreting materials from the FQ seminar held by the Institute of Chinese Financial Studies(ICFS)of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics(SWUFE),so as to explore the influence of the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model on interpreting practice through the method of case study. The main content of this report is to introduce the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model and to discuss how this new theoretical model can guide the interpreting practice and solve problems in the process of interpreting. The Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model includes: the relevance theory, deverbalization and the adaptation theory. This model is creative in that it specifically analyzes the process of interpreting from an interdisciplinary perspective, and connects the three theories with the three stages(listening and comprehension, deverbalization, and target language expression)of the interpreting process to form the associative phases of the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model consisting of the Relevance phase, the Deverblization phase and the Adaptation phase. It systematically summarizes the previous theoretical research. The author analyzes the problems encountered in different stages of the interpreting process, and proposes corresponding suggestions and solutions according to the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model. The present study is divided into five parts. The first part is a description of the interpreting task;the second part is the description of the interpreting process;the third part is theoretical frameworks;the fourth part is case analysis and the fifth part is conclusion. In the part of task description, the author starts with task background, and then makes a general overview of the interpreting task.In the part of the interpreting process, the author mainly describes the three stages of interpreting, which are pre-interpreting preparation, the process of the consecutive interpreting and task results. In the part of theoretical frameworks, the author introduces the concepts of the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model, including the relevance theory, deverbalization and the adaptation theory. In the part of case analysis, the author divides the problems encountered in this interpreting practice into three types: listening and comprehension,memory-related,and target language expression. These three types of problems correspond to the three stages of the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model. After analyzing the causes of the problems and the errors they caused, according to the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model, the solutions to the problems in different stages of the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model are given. In the conclusion part, the author conveys some experiences and introspections in the process of this consecutive interpreting. In addition, the author explains some of the major findings and shortcomings of this project. The interpreting practice being reported here was in the form of a seminar. It is hoped that this report can inform by providing some references for the interpreting practice of similar seminars.Through the author's analysis of the interpreting practice, this report aims to share experiences with other interpreters and interpreting learners, with the hope of bringing some new ideas and inspirations.
