As frequently used adverbs in Chinese,Adverbs of Degree play an extremely important role in communication activities.The usage of adverbs of Degree is complicated and quite flexible.Each adverb has its own characteristic.Therefore,degree adverbs in Chinese are the key and difficult point not only for international students to learn but also for teachers to teach.At present,the research results of degree adverbs is fruitful,however,the error analysis on Chinese Degree Adverbs is insufficiency.And the research results of error analysis on Thai students' errors in the usage of Chinese Degree Adverbs are rare.This paper consists of three parts.Part one includes the significance of this paper,the current research situation and the research methods applied by the author.Part two is the main body of the paper,which can be divided into three chapters.Chapter One is the analysis of error types of using degree adverbs.Identifying the errors from the collected materials,this paper summarizes five types of errors,which are error generation,omission,addition,wrong order and mixture.According to the quantities of the errors,the paper concludes the characteristics of the various types of errors.Based on the existing types of errors,Chapter Two explores the causes of the errors.Then it draws a conclusion that these errors are caused by the influence of learner's mother language,target language and other factors.According to the causes of errors,Chapter Three puts forward some corresponding key and difficult points,including the comparison between Thai and Chinese;the meaning and syntax analysis of each single adverb etc,and some teaching strategies from the view point of the teaching approach.Part three is conclusion,which summarizes main points of the paper and its significance.
