The Research Of The Mistakes Of Chinese Vowels And Consonants Made By Beginners From Southeast Brazil

With the further exchange of China and Brazil in various areas,more and more Brazilians start to study Chinese.The pronunciation is an important component of a language.Good pronunciation makes effective communication.Teaching Chinese in Brazil is still in the early stage.There are only few researches about teaching Chinese phonetic symbols to Brazilian students whose mother tongue is Brazilian Portuguese.It's an honor for the author to teach Chinese in the Confucius Institute at University of Pernambuco for one year.After comparing the phonetics of Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese in northeast Brazil,especially vowels and consonants,the author analyzed possible mistakes that learners would make.Taking advantage of all convenient conditions the Confucius Institute can provide,the author found proper beginners to prove all predictions in daily classes and the oral test.Through the analysis,the author summarized the reason of phonetic mistakes and put forward some corresponding teaching strategies and operable teaching plan,hoping they would help in teaching Chinese phonetic symbols in northeast Brazil in the future.
