Study On The Supply Of Public Cultural Service In Yulin City

With the deepening of the reform and opening-up policy,the economy and society of our country is developing comprehensively and rapidly;cultural demand is becoming increasingly prominent,which displays the improvement of a nation’s social cohesion,values,cultural and moral levels.The quality and level of the public cultural demand are diverse,and the government-dominated and multipartite supply of public cultural service should be suitable to people’s demand.From the perspectives of ensuring public cultural rights and promoting the government’s service function,this thesis conducts an investigation and analysis on Yulin’s public cultural service.It is found that the city’s cultural service supply has the following problems: supply mode is simple;supply content is poor;supply quantity is small;imbalance between the city and the towns is obvious;supply service awareness is low,and so on.After making a survey on the reasons of these problems,this thesis,based on the experience of the advanced public cultural service at home and abroad,puts forward some suggestions,such as making clear the diverse choices of supply methods,strengthening the government’s investment,perfecting the evaluation system of the public cultural service.It is expected that Yulin’s public cultural service ability could be improved,the local government’s function transformation could be enhanced and the city’s comprehensive strength could be increased.
