With increasingly frequent cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries,more and more foreign students resort to various means to learn in China.In the process,classroom interpreting ensures the smooth communication between two or more parties,playing an indispensable role in cultural exchanges.Based on the author's practical experience in the foreign students summer camp held by BICC,this paper makes analysis of characteristics of classroom interpreting,namely,immediacy,professional content and diversified communication and provides with coping strategies including assistance from the teacher,self-correction and so on,hoping to contribute to relevant research and make exchanges between China and foreign countries more effective.
