Spoken Chinese is one of the four basic skills of Chinese learning,which is an important part in International Chinese Education.The ability of discourse segmentation is necessary for senior foreign students to master,it is also an important factor to judge the students' Chinese level.But the discourse segment ability is a bottleneck of students' Chinese learning.Basically they can communicate with people in their daily life without any problem,when the topic is related to discourse expression,they always make people feel somewhat awkward.Based on the foreign students of two famous Chinese college in Guangzhou,Sun Yat-sen University and Jinan University,heir students are as the research object,starting from the real recording of the students' oral corpus,which is combined with the existing language text theory,and then analyze their discourse competence in-depth.On the basis of these results,the writer will trace back to Chinese textbooks,finally the writer will put forward some suggestions for the compilation of Chinese textbooks and Chinese teaching process.This paper argues that in order to effectively improve the Chinese discourse ability of senior foreign students,firstly,we must judge by the true level of students' oral Chinese,and then trace back to teaching materials,so as to completely analyze which part has some problems,therefore the writer can put forward some corresponding suggestions: first,students must strengthen their sense of discourse ability,at the same time,they should try to express their ideas and opinions as much as possible,both in the daily life and during the class.The number of paragraph expression exercises should be added to advanced Chinese textbook,meanwhile,discourse practice needs to be promoted diversification,the traditional model of the word to the sentence should be changed;while Chinese teachers of the advanced level still have to pay more attention to the paragraph expression of spoken Chinese,adopting suitable teaching strategies combined with the actual situation of students to improve students' discourse competence,such as Project-base Learning.
