The Pechenegs originated in the Central Asian region.They lived in the area between the Aral Sea and the middle of the Syrian River.As one of nomadic people,Pechenegs had very strong fighting strength and strong flow ability.Because of the Oghuz moved westward,in the first half of the ninth century Pechenegs had been migrated to the area between the Urals and Volga rivers.The second half of the ninth century,because of the the converging attack between the Ugers and the Khazars,Pechenegs westward migration again,and ultimately defeated the Magyars.The Khazars began to decline,the main part of the Pechenegs migrated in the southern Russian grassland.The Pechenegs located between the southern Russian grasslands and the Balkan peninsula,between Kiev Ross and the Byzantine forces,occupying the“Varangians-Greeks trade routes”,often looted trade caravan of Kiev Ross to the Byzantine Empire.They participated in the war between the Bulgarians and the Byzantine Empire.They participated in the war between the Byzantine Empire and Kiev Ross.They attacked the border of the Byzantine state.They launched the Pecheneg war.They launched a large-scale wars with the Kiev Ross States.They serve as mercenaries.Because of the failure of the Pecheneg war and the second siege of Kiev's,the main force of the Pechenegs was eliminated.It was not until1122 that one of Pechenegs crossed the Danube and reached Thrace and Macedonia.This is the last time that the Byzantine Empire suffered Pechenegs invasion,Pechenegs army annihilated.Since then,Pechenegs gradually joined other surrounding communities.This paper takes the activities of the Pechenegs as the object of study,explores the process of the Pechenegs descendants,the westward migration process,and the migration of the Pechenegs and the Byzantine-dominated Balkan peninsula and the relationship between the suburbs of the South Russia grassland,which is mainly based on Kiev Ross,to explore the impact of the exodus of the Central Asian nomads on Europe.This paper argues that the development of the Byzantine Empire policy,which affected the normal operation of the Kiev Ross business,changed the strategy of the Byzantine Empire to Kiev Roth as a result of the appearance of the Pechenegs.
