Sampling Study On The National Commonly-used Language In Uyghur Of Hotan Area

The National Commonly-used Language,not only from the legal status,but from its own value,increasingly shows its appeal.The minority areas of popularizing the national commonly-used language becomes increasingly urgent in the rapid development of modern society.By selecting local Uighur school-age population as investigation objection from the typical representative of Uygur highly populated areas Hotan region and using comprehensively literature study,questionnaire investigation and statistics to find out the 539 respondents relatively comprehensive description of the Uighur in this area overall situation of national common language from language ability,language's usage,language learning,language's attitude and the usage of Chinese characters.This paper summarizes the Uighur Hotan region general features of language use and existing problems at present and targeted promotion of national common language reference in the future on the basis of field survey,interviews,observation and data analysis and offers proposals of using the national common language in this region.
