The Financial District of New York world trade center stands two known as Twins Tower,which are the landmark of New York.After the "911" incident,the two buildings disappeared.The "911" incident is a history of the United States which has occurred in the domestic land,which is also the most serious of a planned and premeditated terrorist attack.The terrorist attacks caused unprecedented serious psychological damage to the contemporary United States and the people of all walks of life.Said the famous American professional writer Robert Somerson comments that the terrorists' move "destroyed not only these two buildings,which are the World Trade Center and The Pentagon,the destruction is more of a feeling of peace and security in the hearts of the American people.The original text of the translation practice is from American Popular Culture in the Era of Terror,which leads to that Americans have entered into a new era dominated by terrorism.The original author of the book provides an interesting new framework for the study of mass culture in the United States,such as watching movies,TV shows,and major texts.At the same time,he also provides a unique interpretation of the original text.The translator's written translation practice report is a general summary,also an introduction,research and summary of the translator's task and the final completion of the translation task.This thesis consists of six parts,namely,the origin of translation,the task of translation,the process of translation,the theoretical basis and research of translation,and the analysis of translation cases,and the last part is a summary of the translator's translation practice.This translation practice report selects some relevant translation strategies and methods,and under the guidance of the proposed functional equivalence theory of Eugene A Nida,then the selected text is translated into English.At the same time,the translator will also combine the examples in the course of practice and those problems that encounter arising from the translation,and the strategies and techniques that can be applied in the actual translation process are summarized and summarized,such as literal translation,translation,translation,translation and other translation methods.This paper tries to present the original language to Chinese readers Through the analysis of the case,on the basis of the analysis of the original text types and the combination with the theory of functional equivalence.
