The AHA effect means that insight can generate stronger memory compared with non-insight.Auble et al.(1979)firstly verified through the way of insight inducement that insight can have the effect of enhancing memory and then presented the concept of AHA effect. However, whether this effect can exist in false memory, what mechanism of its cognition is,still need further research.Based on these, this study had designed three experiments to investigate the insight of AHA experience and the natural differences between insight and non-insight processes respectively. The Experiment I examined whether the memory advantage effect still existed in the false memory. They had invited 30 college students as participants in the experiment, and the experiment consisted two stages: Stage I was problem solving phrase, the participants were asked to solve the Chinese Remote Association Test(CRAT)items and positive judgements to whether insights and non-insights towards successfully solved problems. In Stage II,the answers to CRAT based on insight/non-insight solution were used as critical lures of Deese-Roediger-McDermott(DRM)lists.Participants were asked to learn the words in the list. After learning words in all lists, they were invited to re-recognize to the critical lure words, the learning list words and the irrelevant words, which hadn't appeared in the learning phrase. The false re-recognizing rate and “R/K” rate of critical lure words and irrelevant words were examined under the insight and non-insight solutions. The Experiment II had examined the influence of the presentation ways in the encoded learning phrase to the AHA effect.31 college students were invited as the participants in the experiment. The experiment procedure was almost the same with Experiment I,but the DRM wordlist was shown randomly.Critical lures, the false re-recognizing rate of irrelevant words and the “R/K” rate were examined under the insight and non-insight solutions. The Experiment III had examined the influence of warning alert to the AHA effect in the phrase of false memories extraction. With 36 college students as the participants, the experiment design was the same as that of the experiment I.However, before the DRM wordlist learning stage, the warning prompt is added. The realization of the warning effect in the insight reconstruction process has been discussed through the critical lures, false re-recognition and "R/K" judgment in the experiment. The result of Experiment I revealed that the insight had process advantage effect in false memory. It had been shown that the false re-recognizing rate of the insight answer words as the critical lures of false memories was lower than insight search words as the irrelevant words. The Experiment II revealed that the insight still showed the memory advantage in false memory after weakening the critical lures by continuously activated in false memory encoding stage.Meanwhile, the details shown in the false re-recognition of insight critical information were declined. The Experiment III revealed that no significant differences between the critical lures of insight and non-insight and the re-recognizing rate of the irrelevant words after the warning alerts were added in the false memories extraction stage, that the AHA effect was disappeared.
