Chu lacquerware unique shape and rich patterns,Plays an important role in the history of Chinese arts and crafts.The myth appeared due to the highly imaginative and expressive,become the visual elements of Chu lacquerware in the most mysterious,is also an integral part of Chu lacquerware research.In this paper,the tomb of Ceng Houyi and Mawangdui tomb unearthed lacquer kind as the starting point,based on a large number of field investigation and literature review,a systematic and in-depth study of Chu lacquerware in myth patterns,the expansion on category form and artistic characteristics,aesthetic characteristics and implication of the social thought and historical value of this.To promote the theoretical research on Chu lacquerware.The thesis is composed of introduction and four chapters,?The introduction part mainly defines the concept of myth,Chu patterns,and research methods used in this paper are introduced;?In the first chapter,first from the performance of content sorts out five categories of Chu lacquer decoration myth,and rely on the carrier are summarized from three kinds of forms of Chu lacquer myth patterns?In the second chapter,respectively from the three aspects of composition form,balanced rich contrast and unity decoration craft,exquisite color,gradually expounds the artistic features of Chu lacquerware myth patterns(4)The third chapter focuses on the expression of content,painting lines,decorative color and composition,analyzes the unique aesthetic features of Chu lacquerware myth patterns(5)The fourth chapter,combined with the historical background and Chu of the Warring States period to the Qin Dynasty a domain of cultural background,reveals the Chu lacquerware patterns contained in the myth,the Taoism and the Confucianism thought of pluralistic society,And pointed out that these patterns reflect the myth of Chu Chu folk customs and aesthetic taste,has a certain historical value.
