In 2017,Heilongjiang Province ushered a new development in tourism.Based on the characteristics of resource in Heilongjiang Province,President Xi Jinping said:nature is the true treasure,and ice and snow resource is the true treasure.In 2017,Harbin was successfully selected as the northeast venue of the Spring Festival with its unique feature “ice”,showing the charming of Harbin to the people all over the world.So Heilongjiang Province's tourism was greatly promoted,and majority tourists were attracted to come here.As an only Minority Autonomous County in Heilongjiang Province,Durbod is situated at the key joint of the west gold travel line.It attracts a lot of visitors at home and abroad with its unique Mongolian favor,custom culture and tourist resources so that more and more people begin to be deeply interested in Mongolian culture.With the development of the Internet and technology,translation on publicity text is playing an important role in publicizing national culture.However,there is still some imperfections,so as a student of translation major,the author determines to make some contributions to publicity text translation.Combining the characteristic of tourism text,author uses Newmark's translation theory of communicative and semantic translation to guide translation practice.Author mainly focused on informative and vocative function,so as to achieve the purpose of publicity.In the process of translation,author analyzed the translation problems and methods from three aspects: vocabulary,sentence and passage.Vocabulary level consists of the transliteration method on names of place and river,conversion method on four-character phrases,omitting method on similar lists,transliteration and annotation method on Mongol vocabulary.Sentence level includes order adjustment method on long sentences,conversion method from active sentence to English passive sentence,adding method on non-subject sentences.Passage level is composed of methods of cutting on redundant structures,integrating on loose structures and semantic division on logical and narrative order.
