In recent years,many general Chinese textbooks published in China are issued overseas.However,the actual use of general Chinese textbooks published in China is not optimistic,mainly because of the fact that the textbooks published in China cannot meet the needs of overseas learners.Therefore,this paper compares Crash Learning in Oral Chinese published by Beijing Language University Press with New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language subsequently introduced and adapted by South Korea and put analyzing focus on the cultural part,summarizing the basic principles of adapting textbooks for the purpose of providing feasible practical suggestions on publishing Chinese teaching materials overseas in the future.The first part introduces the reason and significance of the topic,and then summarizes the theoretical basis of principle of Chinese textbook writing and the present research status of Chinese teaching materials of China and Korea comparison,finally introduced the basic situation of the selected two textbooks and research methods.The second chapter analyzes the positioning of the two teaching materials from the three aspects: the purpose of writing,the object and the environment,and the teachers.The paper analyzes the layout design of the two teaching materials from the overall structure and the detailed structure of the teaching materials,through the above analysis,this paper holds that the adaptation of New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language in the Layout design and positioning of teaching materials makes it more suitable for Korean learners' needs and enhances the applicability of teaching materials.The third chapter analyzes the cultural part of Crash Learning in Oral Chinese and New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language.The first part,through the analysis of two textbooks' common content of culture concludes the ideas that its focus is on the communication culture and analysis that this cultural arrangement is suitable for Crash Learning in Oral Chinese but not for New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language,according to the teaching materials position,using context and the goal of International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education.In order to further enhance the applicability of New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language,we must increase the cultural content.The second part firstly divides new adding cultural content of New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language into three categories: an overview of Chinese culture,folk culture and deep cultural values,and then a table of showing the main contents is used.After that this part analyzes new adding cultural content as the rationality of knowledge culture,according to the goal of International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education and the use context of New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language.The analysis of reasons is made from the perspective of textbooks andlearners on the basic course and elementary course that focus on the brief introduction of Chinese culture and the increase of the proportion of deep cultural ideas in elementary course.On this basis,the author sums up and analyzes the new cultural content has hierarchical,targeted,practical and interesting features.The third part explores the New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language adding cultural section's reason from several perspectives such as relationship between language and culture,the New Strategy in Learning Chinese Language textbook location and using context,learners' psychological and cultural type.Finally,based on the comparative analysis of the two textbooks,this paper sums up the basic principles of the adapted textbooks and puts forward some suggestions for the overseas publication of Chinese textbooks.
