The Research Of Shenmiao Liuzhong Zoushu Huiyao

Shenmiao Liuzhong Zoushu Huiyao,40 volumes,compiled by Dong Qichang in the Tianqi four years(1624).It is born out of Wanli Shishi Zuanyao(300 volumes,now vanished),specially including insicive Wanli liuzhong zoushu for refrence and fair comments writtened by Dong Qichang.It contains 303 memorials that are closely related with important events in Wanli dynasty,which are quoted by many scholars.But educational circles has not done comprehensive and special system of research on this book so far.This article delves into two versions of the book,and discusses its complilation style in the order of the Six Boards.This book is from WanLi thirteen years to forty-eight years.Memorials on Affairs of the Board of Civil Office and the Board of Revenue are maximum proportion.It is writtened by 198 officials,192 Jinshi,4 Ju-ren,l student of the Imperial College,and 1 not-known among them.160 memorials to the throne are writtened by imperial censors,89 by the Six Boards,29 by civil and military governors,25 by other departments.All authors are under their government in its place except two authors.This article divides dimension of the book into four sections,including politics,economy,etiquette education and military.Politicics covers advices,criticizing current affairs,selecting after evaluating qualifications;Economy touches mining and monopoly tax,central finance,water transportation,storing the farming system;Etiquette education extends to nation-base,posthumous name,suzerain management;Military sums up border defense,and Liaodong war situation.This article explores suggestions and prescription in view of these problems combining temporal political facts.With biographies of some officials and Liuzhong Zoushu as the breakthrough point,refering to Ming Veritable Records and Ming History,it finds that officials career of officials who used fierced words in memorials about mining and monopoly tax,nation-base,the lost of emperor is rough or directly final,even almost lost life.This phenomenon reflects serious disagreement between Wanli emperor and officials,also embodies historical facts that the conflict between Wanli emperor and officials flared up.
