The interview program of "A Spiritual Conversation between Human and Ocean: Awe for Nature from Returning" uses a special way to narrow the distance between human beings and nature.Through the introduction of the global trip, the audience can have a real sense of returning to the nature, know the world and have access to different cultures. The genuine interaction among the three guests and the host gives the audience a feel of the scenery, experiencing what was encountered and conquered during the trip.Distinct cultural meanings and spiritual values can also be sensed and appreciated. The interview is full of life truth and colourful cultural meanings, integrating teaching with fun.The author presents in this thesis a report,as well as a reflection,of the practice of her simultaneous interpretation of the interview.During the process, the writer used Daniel Gile’s "Effort Model"(SI=L+M+P+C)to analyze the difficult points and the ways to tackle them. The thesis is targeted at C-E interpretation and dwells on such interpretation strategies as omission, literal interpretation and explanation, free interpretation and integrated interpretation with examples respectively.By using the above strategies, the author revised some of the interpretations through reflection. The interview conveys more than the information of a global trip.Apart from difficulties with switching between languages, the real sentiments of guests also require deliberate consideration of the interpreter. In light of this, the thesis analyzes with representative examples the simultaneous interpretation strategies before making some tentative suggestions,in the hope of providing some reference for relevant teaching and research of future C-E simultaneous interpretation.
