Public Opinion Translation On Foreign Media Report On China's Political Events

Over the past years,the exchanges between China and foreign countries have become increasingly frequent.As the world's largest developing country and the most rapidly developing socialist country,China's diplomatic activities with Western countries have received more and more attention,which has resulted in many reports from foreign media each time.According to the Skopos theory,this thesis is based on a political news translation project about foreign media reports on China's major diplomatic events.The author will first make a brief introduction to this case,and then will summarize the common mistakes in the translation project by comparing the first drafts and final drafts.The author hopes to provide references for translators who will engage in the translation of such texts.
